The Upper Mount Emu Creek (UMEC) Landcare Network is looking for an energetic, collaborative Landcare Facilitator to support a vibrant network of volunteer led groups across Western Victoria.
As the Landcare Facilitator, you will support an established network of dedicated member groups coordinating conservation and sustainable land management projects. You will be involved with the planning and oversight of ‘on the ground’ projects, developing a work plan, sourcing funding, and managing the community engagement of the network through in person events, regular member communications and updates, as well as social media and marketing activities.
If you have the skills in project oversight, community communications, and are ready to serve as the vital link between landholders, agricultural stakeholders, and environmental agencies; this is your opportunity to make a lasting, visible impact on the health of the region and its communities.
Engagement is flexible with both part time employment and private contractor options considered, alongside work from home arrangements. A police check will be required for the successful applicant.
