As a range of new clients and projects come our way, Meridian Agriculture is inviting expressions of interest from individuals who are interested in joining the consulting team.
As a business, Meridian Ag has been consulting to farmers, community and industry groups for over 40 years, and now is a great time to grow our team and continue seeing rural communities grow and thrive.
The type of current opportunities include landholder discussions, financial impact assessments, and research based projects; but we are not limited to this, as the company offers a range of services across production, profitability and people focused services.
What we are after:
We are interested in talking to people who hold a solid knowledge of agricultural production systems, can communicate and relate to agricultural communities, demonstrate the ability to challenge assumptions, use critical thinking and questioning skills for analysis, valuation, and revision; as well as operate with an inquisitive and curious approach.
You may have a background in farm management, a previous consulting role (not necessarily in agriculture but to business or industry), customer liaison or mediation skills, an understanding of legal systems, as well as experience in academic style report writing.
